HPE 1950-48G-2SFP+-2XGT
Start the console session.
Plug in serial cable to console port of device from PC COM1 port
Open PuTTY and select "Serial" connection type, leave baud rate (Speed) and other settings as default.
Plug power into device and if a power button exists, turn it on.
Access the extended boot menu.
Press Ctrl B only ONCE, before seeing any prompt to do so:

Bypass configuration and boot up system.
At the Enter your choice(0-9): prompt type 6 to skip the current system configuration and press Enter:

The same menu and prompt will appear, this time type 1 to boot the system.

Disable password recovery capability
Access elevated privileges mode:

Type the undo password-recovery enable command and type y to confirm:

Press Ctrl Z then type reboot and follow prompts to continue:

Erase configuration and reboot.
Repeat step 2 to access the extended boot menu and type 4 to access the file control menu:

Select each file by number ending in .log and confirm the deletion. Repeat this for all .log files:

Type 5 to reset the configuration to factory defaults, and y to confirm:

Finally type 0 to reboot the system.
Copy all the output from the session into your records.
Right-click PuTTY's titlebar, from that dropdown menu click on "Copy All to Clipboard"
Open the file of record certifying the deconfiguration of this device and use CTRL V to paste all the output from PuTTY into that file. Formatting the text with a fixed-width font helps it look more readable.
End the session.
Close PuTTy.
